I need to get myself in gear before the orientation for the masters of fashion program later this week and obviously, it is time for some retail therapy. Being a fashion student means that it is time to inject some colour and joie de vivre in my wardrobe. I might be the oldest person in the class, but I have the same figure I had when I was 18 (maybe even better than I was 18!). I'm going back to school shopping for me!! Stay posted.

I sooo know what you mean, I am so very aware of how quick time seems to pass and it is made worse (I feel) by the fact that we've had such a bad and relatively cold summer, hence I'm really not ready for autumn yet...
Can you please tell me your secret to having the same figure you had when you were 18?!?!?!
Enjoy the retail therapy and please show us the result, I'm quite curious to see what your choice is for this season ;-)
Love from London xo
...know exactly what you're talking about when it comes to September...
Ingrid, this coming season sounds like it will be so much fun! Not only the course part..the shopping too!
Hugs:)
Dearest Ingrid,
Time is such a funny thing...a sorta sad thing and a happy thing all at the same time. I know how you are feeling as this fall airs creeps into our summer and the shadows of the sun change.
Being by Noels side with her wedding plans that change so many times is as it should be full of fun and excitement but at the same time, it hits me... where did the time go? I get sad but it is a happy sad. Joni Mitchel said it best in her song "The Circle Game".
You are the lucky one to still have your figure. Time took mine away for sure:)
Cheers to you my beautiful friend for all you are!!
Loved by me,
Janet
Best of luck to you in all your autumn endeavors, Ingrid. Sounds like your life is going to take some interesting turns. I'm sure you'll be dressed beautifully for all of it!

Hey, I went to Med School in my 40's and was the oldest in my class, but I really enjoyed the study. Never to late to go to school and learn something fabulous!!

Oh you make me laugh! How fabulous to be looking forward with joy and still have the figure of an 18 year old! :) You go girl! Kx
p.s. I hope your husband's doing some amazing things too - I imagine he's feeling very left out of all these exciting futures going on at your house! ;)
Excellent! Don't forget to get a new pencil case...!
It's always such a pleasure to stop in and check what's on your blog. Happy fall and good luck with your classes. Enjoy the shopping and let us all know what you find. :)

Oh Ingrid, I am so happy that you are participating in retail therapy...and so envious that you still have your 18 year old body! I too have been needing online retail therapy during "recess"! Oh dear,I certainly need it!
Can't wait to see what you come home with...
Nathalie
Time seems to pass so quickly by. Or is that I'm getting older and time never changes? It's exciting that you are taking a fashion class.
Look forward to your pictures of said. It's still warm and sunny here in Germany. September takes me back to Paris. The picture of the flowers is so pretty. xx
