I'd like to invite you to send me photos of hats. Any photo of your favourite hat will do, including a hat that you make using the origami instructions shown in yesterday's post, another hat that you make/knit/sew/craft, or your favourite hat (and hopefully are wearing).
My week seemed to be all about hats, including the Mad Hatter's Tea Party in Alice in Wonderland (which I read for Blog of a Bookworm), the exhibition on Hats at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and my washi hat creations. Tristan Robin Blakeman of Enchanted Revelry said he was going to try the origami hat instructions in his studio today. I'd love to see everyone's fanciful hat creations.
Let's have a tea party! Now the question is will I be the only one there? Please email your photos to artismylife@mac.com as soon as possible, preferably in the next week or so.

oh, good! I love to see others' work!
I didn't get any further than pickout the paper I'm going to use...it's been one of "those" days!
But, tomorrow, with the spouse going shopping in New York, and the dog going to the groomer, I'll have the whole day to play with paper hat making!
I'll have something before the weekend is out!
Have fun, take your time and send me a photo whenever. Hopefully the party will include more than just you and me. If it does, you can be the Mad Hatter and I'll be Alice.
Oh my this sounds like fun!!! Tristan sent me your link and I am so happy he alerted me. I am playing, thanks!!!
HI. Just got your bloglink from Tristan. I love hats and I have quite a few but as I am rather new in blogland I am not sure what your plans are. You want pictures of my hats or me wearing them also.
I don't have a hat but I did make a Queen of Hearts Crown. Does that count? I enjoyed reading your blog. ~ Lynn
found you thru Tristan's blog.....oh how fun...i cannot play today...but, i will give it a try one day real soon!!! Thank you for sharing!!
Oh what fun to have some new friends to my Mad Hatter's Tea Party. Any kind of hat is fine, whether it is your favourite hat to wear or a hat that you've made/knit/crafted. The more fanciful, the better. Tomorrow I'll post some images to inspire your hat creations.
I found you through Tristan's Pink Saturday post. I love hats but nobody wears them anymore. Now I have an excuse to see what I can come up with. I think I'm more of a tiara girl . . . hmmm. I'll be back!!

What a fun and fabulous idea. I'd like to create one myself. I'm going to try to send you a picture. Your post says within the next few weeks? Tristan's post says by Saturday. Do we have more time to submit?
You have a great blog!
